Pygmy Marmoset

Home: Brazil, Peru, Columbia, and Ecuador

Pygmy marmosets live in the Amazon region of Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and northern Bolivia. They make their home in forest trees or bamboo thickets near or alongside rivers and floodplains.

Pygmy marmoset’s favorite food is tree sap. They have certain trees they like within their territory and they can make up to 1,300 holes in each tree!
